AQ Adds Value and Style to New Luxury Homes

Date

We interviewed principal Allison Law from CitiScape Builders Group to get an inside perspective on the use of quartz in the real estate development and construction design arenas. Specializing in the creation of luxury homes, CitiScape Builders Group has created tons of single and multifamily properties for clients in New York City and New Jersey. One of this year’s builds was a stunning two-story home constructed in Livingston, NJ.

CONTINUITY OF QUARTZ

Why would someone choose quartz over other material options? “Quartz doesn’t etch and stain like natural stone and never needs to be sealed, so it’s ideal, especially for our buyers who have young children.” said Allison. This opens the buying market up to more customers in search of long lasting, family-friendly homes. Quartz is sought after for its durability, antibacterial properties, and color and pattern consistency across slabs. Allison described that they have used quartz in various spaces and for many applications including perimeter counters, kitchen islands, beverage stations, wet bars, and pantries.

It doesn’t stop in the kitchen! Quartz is becoming more and more popular in bathrooms, home offices, basements, and other rooms. “We’re getting more buyers who use slabs either behind the kitchen range or the whole backsplash and in the bathroom as an accent wall behind a freestanding tub where book-matching really displays the gorgeous movement and makes a major statement.” said Allison. Although many quartz companies do not offer book-matching, AQ ensures this availability in several veined designs.

ALLEANZA’S PARAMOUNT PALETTE

Once the material type is selected, it’s then a matter of deciding which quartz is best for each project. “Our clients love that we give them so many choices of quartz…” said Allison as she described the diversity of Alleanza Quartz’s designs. Offering three unique collections, Alleanza Quartz gives industry professionals and homeowners everything from veined marble patterns with intriguing movement to more neutral options with depth and dimension. No matter what style preference a customer has, there’s always an AQ design to match.

In their Livingston, NJ project, Citiscape Builders Group was inspired by the design of Hampton-style homes including their open concepts and lavish looks. Allison recounted the design details in the Livingston home and how AQ fit right in, “We chose the Bianco Lasa for the kitchen and wet bar countertops because the fine gold veining coordinated well with the other design element… as well as the movement of the pattern which echoed the elements in the house…” Along with enjoying the benefits of a brand-new custom build, the lucky buyers of this residence will also be rewarded with Alleanza Quartz’s highly valued lifetime warranty.
